This easy bicycle tour runs along the banks of the lakes, offering superb beautiful views and insights into the natural surroundings. The route passes several bathing spots, picnic areas and other sights worth stopping at.

How to get there:
Train: From Berlin central station (Hauptbahnhof), take the S7 (approximately 45 minutes) to Potsdam central station (Hauptbahnhof) and then take the R 23 to Caputh-Schwielowsee
Car: From Berlin via the A115 (approximately 45 minutes).
Route: Caputh, Ferch, Petzow, Potsdam, Caputh
Sights along the route
- Caputh: Palace and park, Stüler-Kirche, Heimathaus (local history centre)
- Ferch: Museum Malerkolonie, Fischerkirche, Japanese Bonsai Garden
- Petzow: Palace and park, Waschhaus am Haussee local history museum, church, Sanddorn-Erlebnis-Garten Christine Berger (sea buckthorn adventure garden)
- Geltow: Church, hands-on weaving museum
- Schill memorial (excellent view)
